Don’t be deceived—the Fool is no fool.
This was the first tarot card I received, just before I moved to Singapore. A symbol of new beginnings and uncharted journeys, the Fool steps into the unknown with fearless curiosity. In one hand, she holds a white rose—a symbol of freedom from baser desires. In the other, a small bundle of possessions, embodying untapped collective knowledge. Over her shoulder, a modest bag carries everything she needs—though, in truth, not much is needed at all.
She stands at the edge of a precipice, seemingly unaware of the vast unknown before her. Around her neck, a small snake coils in quiet defiance —not a threat, but a guardian. Carrying her forward, a larger snake urges her onward, a symbol of wisdom and protection. Behind her, distant mountains whisper of the challenges ahead—ever-present, but not yet in focus. For now, all that matters is the leap.
The Fool is a call to adventure, a reminder to trust the journey even when the path is unclear. She teaches us that hesitation is the real illusion—that courage isn’t about having all the answers, but about embracing the questions. As women, we are often called fools for dreaming too boldly, for taking risks, for believing we can have it all.
But what if being a fool is exactly what we need to be?
If you’ve been waiting for a sign—this is it. The time is now.
Take the leap.
